Complaint about unprocessed cancellation of contract

Good day my name is Sivenathi Mlonyeni,

I am writing this with huge disappointment, I called MTN cancellation quote for my contract on mobile number ***. I was advised to make payment of R1350.00 and use the number in question as a reference which I did successfully on the 19 April 2020. They asked the reason for my cancellation which I advised them I will not be affording the contract as my job is affected due to convid 19 and that is still the case. To my surprise my number was never cancelled and they just took my money as subscription, they have now since suspended my number. I want them to acknowledge that I will not further be able to make payments as I am currently not receiving any salary, I have kept my side of the deal and did all the necessary arrangements to cancel the contract. I want MTN to kindly rectify this and unsuspend my number. I cannot be suffering due to their negligence and nonsensical processes, I will not be affording any further payments under this contract, please process the cancellation.
