COMPLAINT

I am so disappointed with your service lately, i have been with MTN Contract since 2013 and from last year your service is POOR!!

I upgraded my contract with MTN in 2018, when my first debit order went off i noticed it was a bit much for the package i took, i called MTN, advised them i upgraded my contracted and i saw the debit order is more than what i signeg up for, the consultant told me it's because my phone is insured. i even told her they did not tell me that they are insuring it but since it's insured she can leave it.

Now i called MTN to claim for my phone because it fell and broke, i gave them my phones details they are telling me that is not they phone that is insured. All to find out the phone they insured is a phone i had before which i lost last year December, i told them that and they wanted the details of the phone and i reported it ****** etc i logged the call on the 13th of June and they took almost a month to reply back to me, today they are telling me they have rejected my claim because the phone was lost with a different simcard on.. AFTER I HAD EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT THE PHONE THEY ADVISED ME IT WAS INSURED WAS MY NEW PHONE.

I AM INFURIATED AND DISAPPOINTED WITH YOUR SERVICE, I HAVE BEEN PAYING INSURANCE FOR NOTHING FOR ALL THESE YEARS, FOR NOTHING!

MTN rep**** to me saying they will escalate the complaint to the Insurance department because they do not have access to the insurance company system, I HOPE YOU CAN GET THIS SORTED OUT, the way I am furious I don't even want to take more contract deals with you.

MTN rep**** to me and approved my claim, thanks to Lindokuhle from the Complaints department. I am currently waiting for them to fetch the damaged phone I am claiming for.

What I don't understand is why do people/clients have to complain/escalate/fight in order for an issue to be resolved or attended to.

Thank you for finally attending to my query.
