To whom it may concern I have had the worst experience with mtn i had a cellphone contract in 2011 which ended and i settled my account without upgrading.. Recently i have been receiving text messages that threatens to put a Garnish on my name. If at all i was in arrears why contact me only now on a new number?

We can only pick up cancellation request for cell number *** and not for cell ***.
Kindly be advised cell number *** expired and the payments made was for debit orders returned unpaid at the time for both numbers.

The account balance outstanding R508.55, the cell number *** was used for content, calls.
The balance for R386.96 is still outstanding. This need to be paid to bring the account to R0.00
The billing for March 2016 to June will be credited due to no usage. The account will be credited with R159.00
R349.55 need to be paid to clear the balance on the account. Once payment is done the account will be sent to the legal department to remove your name from the ITC list.
