Clueless consultant regarding blacklisting a phone

I called MTN service privider on 16Jan2017, to request that they blacklist my number as I think I have lost the phone while in Durban over the weekend. I spoke to Nompilo "somehow clueless on what she was doing or saying". Nompilo asked me about 3 or 4 times for my details (ID, res address, number they can contact me on, IMEI number), I have never been so angry with anyone over the phone like I did with her. I came to a conclusion that maybe she has a hearing problem. Anyways, after being on the phone with Nompilo for over 30 minutes, she was not able to blacklist my number. Her reason being, my number has already been blacklisted. I asked how that is possible as inmy understanding, if a number is blacklisted then you cant use the phone for anything. True that I had once requested MTN to blacklist my number (01Jul2016) because I thought I had misplaced it, only to find the phone under the c****at while at the carwash. I called MTN to unblacklist the phone on 20Jul2016, they unblacklisted the phone on 04Aug2016.

I explianed the above to Nompilo, but she said that the MTN system still shows that my number is balcklisted. She indiacted that the consultant/agent who assisted me in unblacklisting the phone did not send through the request to upper/senior managemet for approval hence the number still apprears as blacklisted. My understanding i her saying was that if the senior/upper management had not approved the request then the phone should not have been unblacklisted. So what happened to my phone then because it was unblacklisted on 04Aug2016, and I have been able to use it since.

Please assit in blacklisting the phone as calling MTN will mean having the smae conversation over and over again and just go round in circles without resolution.
