CLI still not activated
Two weeks sgo my contact number converted to prepaid and since then had no caller line identity. I called the call center and was told I had exhausted my monthly limit to the call centre even though I was calling for the first time ever. 0o I then had to call again at my own cost and was informed by the agent that it would take 24 hours for the CLI to be activated. The service is still not activated and people I call cannot see who's calling. I reported this to the MTN Twitter account two ago but nobody bothered to respond. This is very descouraging service for me as a new client and it makes me contemplate porting to another network so soon.<br>

16 Jul 2016, 14:006 months later my number is still private, so I'm porting it away because of MTN's incompetence. I cannot have a number that appears as 'private' or 'unknown' to people I'm calling I will also not miss MTN's incessant SMS spam!
