Claims submitted 17 January 2016 and still waiting
I dropped my phone on 18 December 2015 while on holiday in Cape and had to wait until I got back to the Free State as all my documents were in the office. I submitted a claim on 17 January 2016 and have not had any pleasure of having my cellphone fixed yet. The \couriers\" according to the dealership took 2 months to collect the phone for inspection! They collected the phone eventually and on 15 March 2016 I was told to pay R150.00 excess to iniate the repairs which we did and sent proof thereof too. Well today is 14th April almost a month later and guess what no cellphone yet. I have sent numerous emails to MTN insurance which have gone unanswered. We had made so many calls to the local dealership and they just shrug their shoulders everytime we ask about this problem. The local dealership just says it a MTN Insurance problem. We have really tried all avenues to get my phone fixed and MTN has become the laughing stock of everyone in our offices as a result of this problem.<br> Needless to say 4 premuims for insurance have gone off since my claim but no one cares. Now trying to phone 808 only to be told they are offline!! Oh boy ....will I ever see my phone again."
