It's totally unacceptable if you make your monthly payment on the last day of the month ( 31/08/2019 ) and MTN suspend your services on 3/09/2019....even though proof of payment get's mailed to them..

We sincere apologised for the inconvenienced caused.
Kindly be advised that your contract is not on debit order the your contract is on cash method.
Due to the account on cash method you have 21 days from the invoice date to make payment to the account. The invoice date is on the 26th of every month. The payment need to be done the following month on the 15th. The system bill the account in arrears.
The payment for R1700.00 was for the July invoices and this was only paid 3-9-2019 the payment was received late and the system suspended the lines.
The account balance now R 1,605.66 this is for the August invoices and should be paid by 15 September 2019 to avoid for the lines to be suspended.
The lines are active.
