Charges For Fees Never Used

More than 2 years ago (Dec 2012) when I was using a blackberry torch at the time, I was given an iPhone 5 as a present. I went into the MTN Pavilion branch to change my contract as I was no longer paying for a phone and there wanted to increase my airtime and data per month. I changed over to an MTN anytime 350 top up. Now today (25-08-2015) I log into my account on the website to see I still have BIS service activated for which I am paying R58.99 a month extra on my contract for absolutely no reason!

This means for the last once 32 months I have been unknowingly paying this it has amounted to R1887.68 in total! Now for me still being a student this is A LOT of money!

Why was I never once informed of this? The branch manager handled the upgrade in 2012 and never once thought that having an iPhone with me and changing my sim card to a NANO sim for said iPhone should mention to cancel the BIS service???

What a joke MTN yet another reason its all about the cash for you people.

Everyone who ever owned a blackberry should go check if the service is OFF.
