Charged for unapproved extra data
Very disappointed with MTN!! This is **************** at its best! I took a contract in July and I pay R785 which I was happy with. That's what I can afford! They sent SMS for extra data usage and said we should reply with a YES. I never did!!! Because I can't afford paying any more more towards a phone. Even with no response they went ahead and activated my number for extra data! This month I had to pay R1285.71. for something I never agreed on!! Show me where I have you consent to give me extra data!! I need proof! Please give me back my money. I have paid for my account in advance, come July 2018 I will never give MTN more money because you are acting like ******!! Where do you guys think we get money from? Dr trees? No ways! I will never pay for this. Please fix this from your side!

We have explained to you the set up regarding the SMS received for the SUL to be changed. If the client do not respond to the SMS the system will accept this request as a consent by client. We have escalate this to the manager to make the CVM campaign aware of this. We will assist you with the credit for the data charges, the credit will reflect in 2 days on the account.
