Changed my number to MTN and now I can’t even use the number

My cellphone number has been disabled without any consent from mtn or notification as to why this would happen .

Why did I even change my number for this to happen .

I gave everyone my new number to contact me and now the number doesn’t exists ?

Is this how MTN is treating customers ?
