Cellphone repair
I have bought cellphone on 10/08/2013, insurance included for 24 months. I had a problem with the phone on March which a cannot charge, does not want to switch on meaning the phone went dead.
So i returned the phone the Focshini on behalf of Mtn and explain what is wrong.
In April i received an message from mtn (***) to repair a phone i must pop out R 2 200.00, thats day light *******.
Today on the 15 /05/2015 i received a response from [Email Removed] that a proof of purchase is not acceppted once the unit has been assessed at the reapir centre. I tried to call so that they can expalin to me what does it mean the toll free number is inactive.

18 May 2015, 15:09Hello makoeaa@2015,
Thank you for your post.
Apologies for the inconvenience caused. I have referred your query to the relevant department and what they meant about proof of purchase not accepted once the unit has been assessed it that when they book the phone in for repairs it has to be accompanied by the proof of purchase. If it is sent without it they reject the phone.
The R2200.00 was to fix the phone and if the phone was insured you need to contact insurance.
I was advised that you need to pay in R330.00. Once that is done the phone will be returned to the store and it will have to be booked in again with the proof of purchase. I have tried getting in touch with you but your phone rang unanswered.
Warm regards
