Cant seem to get out of MTNs grip

I have been trying to port out of MTN to Telkom (for obvious reasons) for about 2 months now. I have never been successful at this as they keep saying that I they have not received a port request from me. How Convenient!! Today I tried contacting their call centre and I was told that I needed to call the porting department. At this department I was met by a very rude man who would not even let me finish a sentence. He kept cutting in as I tried to explain the challenge I was having. He again told me that he had not received a porting request and that I should check if I had sent the sms correctly. I tried to explain to him that I had done that (5 times). He rudely told me that I do not understand anything about the porting process to which I asked if he would just listen to me since I am a customer and he responded " No, I do not have to listen to you!" I hung up out of frustration and I still have not been helped.
