Cannot use my Cellphone and MTN can't do anything

Good day,

I have not been able to use my phone since Monday. After fee increases my credit limit is too low to get me through the billing cycle. I hit my credit limit and was cut off.

I have tried to get through to 808 three times and have not been able to speak to a consultant. I have also e-mailed and am waiting on a response. I have been to a store (cavendisch) and was told that because of the strike and there being no credit consultants they couldn't help me. I offered to pay, so that I can continue using my phone, but again I was told this was not possible because of the strike.

I was told that there is nothing I can do to get my phone reconnected. How can stores have so little authority in helping clients?

I'm pretty sure the billing will work fine, so I will be paying for a service that MTN cannot provide to me.

Philip Stallkamp

The matter has been escalated to the Credit vetting team for urgent attention and to contact you directly with feedback and a way forward.

We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
