Cannot reinstate services due to SAYA recoveries incompetence, and Customer "Care" not "caring" one bit. Communication breakdown between the parties; I cannot get hold of any decision makers.
TO whom it may concern:
The story goes like this: for various reasons, I was unemployed and fell into arrears with my account. Eventually I was "handed over" to SAYA Recoveries; fine, fair enough. Except SAYA does not respond to emails (the email server sends back an "permanant error" and they don't answer the phone - so how exactly am I supposed to contact them? I decided to send an email every hour until a response came. I eventually spoke with Xolile (this past Friday) with whom I made arrangements and she undertook to let MTN know an arrangement was in place and they can reinstate the services. This is especially important as I work from home and need to be in constant contact with the office; that is, I have epilepsy and cannot drive the distance between Pretoria and Johannesburg as I used to do. My employers have been very accommodating in this regard; making being connected so much more important - my job literally depends on it.
All that I ask is that Xolile/MTN/Customer "Care" liaise with each other, even listening to the voice recording and reinstate my ESSENTIAL services.
The agreement was that I keep the account current (because I found employment, and will pay on the 25th; payday) while simultaneously making payment towards the accumulated arrears. Xolile, at SAYA, agreed and offered to send an email to MTN and to me, which according to the conversation that I just had with Customer "Care" did not happen.
So could someone please help me out? I've been trying for months to sort this out, even employing the HeyNed service from Nedbank to try and contact SAYA and MTN - records of these failed attempts are available.
I spoke to Sizakele this morning at Customer "Care", for the record. I am still sending emails every hour until something happens.
Will you help?
