Cannot get through to cancel my contract

Went to a branch to cancel my contract only to be told that I must phone 135, oh and what a nightmare to be send from pillar to post (no wonder i was advised by the branch to ask for ***** if i cannot get through to cancelations.) Even that did not help. My contract expires 26/10 and I want it cancelled. Therefore I give you 1 month notice. would appreciateif youvan acknowledge it.
