Cannot get clarification on account

I want to terminate my current cellphone contract. Upon making the request I was informed that my account has been handed over to legal even thouvI have been been paying the invoiced amounts monthly up to now. I am now trying to get clarification and am being handed phone number after phone number to rech someone at legal. I am now at a dead end where the last number I have been given goes straight to voicemail. I am now angry and frustrated as I cannot get any resolution or find out what's going on with the account.
