Cannot cancel contract due to strike

My contract as expired in May 2015. Went into the store to cancel and convert my sim to prepaid and they say they cannot help because their HO is on strike. So if HO is on strike does your systems not work too??? then why is the store open? The guy at the store advised that I should call HO directly and cancel. I call and then get put on hold for 40mins...twice......before the calls automatically cuts off!<br> So now I'm sitting with a debit order for a phone that's already paid off and that is so old that it doesn't deserve a amount that im paying in. And this money could be used for something else that I really need. <br> <br> But I bet if I want to take a new contract then magically your systems would work! money for u!!! no care for the customer that's been cheated.
