Cannot call on MTN for 2.5 weeks and no one at MTN can tell me why

On Saturday 15 October i could not make any calls on my MTN network, the message "Conditional Call forwarding active" appears and the call is ended immediately. On Tuesday 17 October i phoned the call centre form my land line and the lady tried all sorts of attempts with ##..... and digits which did not help. Eventually she said i need to give it some time. On Thursday 19 October i again phoned the call centre to check if my account has maybe changed or something as this problem is still ongoing. The call centre agent again tried all the #... digits (which cancels any existing settings) and eventually gave me a reference number ********** 4 - which he said this is a common problem the network is experiencing, my name will be added to a list and they will sort my query out within 24 hours. Nothing happened. On Tuesday 24 October, i went to MTN store in Nicolway, they also tried 33... digits, swapped phones etc and logged a new reference number being 1- ********** 5774 and said they will deal with my query. Bearing in mind i can still not make any calls on the MTN phone. The next day on 25 October at 08:29am i received an SMS from MTN stating the query has been resolved, which is not the case. I went back to the MTN Nicolway store, a new reference number has been logged - ********** . They latest as at today 31st October is they are working on the network. Not sure what that means and neither does the store as this is the only information received. I cannot use my MTN phone for the past 2.5 weeks to call anyone - this is also a security issue because if i am in a situation where i need help i cannot phone anyone. Will someone from MTN please advise what the issue is as no-one really knows and i would like a refund for the past 2.5 weeks monthly fee which i am paying for but cannot use. Please MTN - this is so frustrating and i am sure i cannot be the first person ever to experience this!
