Cancelling of the MTN contract on ***

I have been a customer of MTN since i have been using mobile cell phone. I have been trying to cancel the contract that i have not been using since August 2021 but i have not been assisted i have been taken from post to peeler sometime i am told they are out of line and they will take my details and promise to come back to me, but that has never happened.
