CANCELLING CONTRACT
My 24 month contract has expired. I called over a week ago to cancel contract and convert number to prepaid. Was told it will take between 5-7 days and I will get sms. I followed up this week and was told it was in queue and will be attended to soon. Yesterday while at store in gateway, assistant called to follow up for me and was told it will take 30 days!!! to convert to prepaid!. Further I received airtime for month despite it being in queue for cancellation. Ridiculous. Please convert to prepaid asap and I will not be liable for airtime charges this month. Come on MTN! to many conflicting messages!
