Cancelled sim card still being used and active without my consent!!

On 28 March 2016 I sent in a query (reference number ***) to cancel my sim card and block my phone on number *** after it was ******.

In April my account limit was increased to over R5700 and an amount of R2500 was debited from my bank account - of which R2100 was due to my *** still being active!!

Now there is another amount of over R5500 going to be billed to me!
I want to know HOW my credit limit was increased without my consent and who this person is on MTN's side? I want to see the proof.

Secondly, the money from the *****elent use of my sim (which was supposed to be cancelled) needs to be credited into my account.

Lastly, the outstanding amount of R5500 needs to be corrected immediately.

I am going to take legal action on this matter.

I have submitted a query online with exactly the above information onto MTN website (query ***) and since then NO contact from MTN.
It is now 3 days after and no attempt to assist me or show that they care about their customers.
I am now in contact with my bank and will be blocking all debit orders from MTN until further notice as well as getting legal council on this matter.
This is *****.

The only thing MTN has done (without contacting me) is suspending my service.
This is the last straw.

Stop order in place and last debit order reversed.
My account has been suspended, so I am not losing anything here.
I am now forcing MTN to deal with me...how pathetic is this?

Thank you for your post.
We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.
The system reflect that the credit limit has been changed from the MTN Active system this has been done by the MTN store.
The request has been sent to the billing department to credit the account for data and calls for the May and June invoice.
Once the credit reflect we will open the lines for you.
Kind Regards,

Hi again Alice
Firstly - thanks for getting back to me. This is the first comms I have had on this issue.
Secondly - I require the following information:
1. Was my sim stopped as per query ***? If not, why not - the query was closed. If it was stopped - where was the sim swop done and who did it? I need to see what form of identification was given to show it was me who requested the sim swop.
2. How was my limit increased? Who did this and what instruction did this person follow to increase the limit?
3. This is a serious offense - this is ***** and I am not going to take this issue lightly. Nowhere do you tell me what was the root cause of the problem and what you have done/are doing to resolve this matter...you only mention how you are going to resolve the symptoms. My account is closed...service suspended and now I still have to wait for my credit to show before my line is opened.....it is not as simple as that.
I want the people involved to be held personally accountable for allowing this ***** to happen.
Regards
John

Hi Alice
Again no feedback on this matter. I have asked per email that someone phones me or talk me through the process on what will be corrected on the bull and what not and discussions around this.
The debit order is still on hold from my side to my bank and it will now look like I am in contravention with my contract to you, but MTN has left me no choice as I cannot trust MTN anymore in making the right and fair decision when it comes to my money.
I believe I am more than realistic to expect a representative from MTN to contact me (who actually went through ALL the information) and take me through this entire process.
If MTN is going to hold me liable for any penalties/costs for debit orders not going through, I will take this further.
