Cancellation of expired contract

<p>I have been trying endlessly to cancel my already expired cellphone contract with MTN with no success. This is unacceptable and goes against the consumer protection act!</p> <p>My contract has expired, I have tried numerous times to cancell it but I am still being billed for it. I went to the nearest store to see if they can assist only to be told I must phone 808.</p> <p>When phoning 808 I just get placed on hold until eventually the call is ended.</p> <p>The one time I did get through I was passed on from one operator to another each time having to answer countless security questions all over again, and I still have not manged to cancel this contract. Whats more is, this contract is fully paid up, I am not behind on payments. This is a serious offence and I think legal action will be my next step.</p>
