Cancellation of Contract
I cancelled my contract with MTN about 2 weeks ago after the bad I got last year. I was told that this will take about 3 to 7 days and then I will get the SMS to show that the contract has been cancelled. After 7 days after realizing that the contract has not been cancelled, I called the call center again and they told me that they have a problem with their retention department and this will take longer that expected. Still after 2 days there was no response. I went to the branch and the consultant told me that none of the 3 reference numbers that I have exist on their system. She said that the latest one has been closed, but my contract is still active.

I was forced to close the contract in the branch and ITS GONNA TAKE 30 DAYS NOW.

MTN has very bad service, and a don't-care-attitude.
