Cancellation of Contract

So I have been trying to cancel my MTN contract but everyone is giving me the runaround and no one is willing to help me. I've been calling the call centre since yesterday morning and they told me they'll call back after an hour. Each time without fail. Do I get a call back? No. I reached out on Twitter and the person who responded told me they escalated my matter to retentions, but couldn't even give me a reference number. How useless? I'm honestly so sick of this network and I just want to cancel this contract because it's a big inconvenience in my life. Can somebody actually help me????
