Cancellation it's a nightmare at mtn. Whether you do it at the store or by calling 135 there's no assistance either way

I had three devices on contract with mtn (2 phones and 1 router) , I finished paying off two of them which is 1 phone and the router and asked for them to be removed on the contract as I didn't need the data on 18th Dec 2024 and and received an sms to confirm that the cancellation was successfully on the 7th Jan 2025 only to receive an invoice from mtn which still includes the router, before cancellation I was paying the router R215 and now am charged R600 and I cancelled a month prior. I called mtn but I kept being forwarded to different departments with no help at all!!! Mtn only assists you quickly when you take a new device or contrat but doesn't help you when done paying and no longer need the contracts which is very unfair to the customers bcz they keep deducting money regardless of you canceling on time
