Cancellation and contact amount paid - but MTN still charged me and refused cancellation

MTI Reached out to MTN South Africa on the 28th of March 2022, I told them i am cancelling one of my Contract , I was asked go and pay the Cancellation fee at the store, I paid R2408.93 and was given a reference no and that i would be contacted within 24 hours to confirm the cancellation, it has been 5 days now and no one has reached out , MTN has debited my account after paying all the fees, I called the customer care no the first consultant said the funds have been received and was transferred to cancellation team , the cancellation team said they cant see any funds --- am not sure who is playing who but I want the no Cancelled my Contact no is ***
