Canceled Contract

A month ago my WIFE was interested in the new iPhone X, so she went to MTN in Somerset West Mall and app**** to see if she is approved for a contract. And she was after a big struggle. They said to her, she must wait 2 weeks, so we went to Vodacom where she had a contract which was expiring at the end of March. She didn't want to wait 2 weeks for a phone and just upgraded at Vodacom and have the phone quicker. She went back to MTN and said she doesn't want the phone anymore and they canceled it at MTN in Somerset west mall. The guy said to her ok thats fine and he canceled the application. Now Van De Venter Mojapelo Inc is phoning ME to pay them because she canceled the contract!!!!! They say I took out the contract!!! I DID NOT TAKE OUT A CONTRACT AT MTN!!! And according to the consumer act we can cancel a contract within 7 days and not pay anything because we never got the stupid phone!!!! Between them and Van De Venter Mojapelo Inc they are the worst people to deal with! Never ever have anything to do with these companies!
