Cancelation Problems

Been trying to cancel my contract and as soon as I try to explain why I'm phoning they keep putting me through to someone else even though I selected the cancelation department. Was going to upgrade my device but 10/10 would not recommend it as they are quick to want more money but not helpful at all when trying to cancel a contract. Waiting on hold for 10min to re exolain myself is not fun at all. Would recommend to just buy a device instead of getting a contract especially with MTN.
