Cancel MTN for *****ing from its own customers.

MTN is the most horrible network provider and also had the most atrocious customer service experience. I have 2 contracts, an MTN modem (only hosting the MTN network) and device insurance with them and they have been nothing short of disgusting and disappointing. When I took the 2nd contract, my data plan and allocation was on a pro-rata basis. I called in to enquire about the data usage as my usage did not match the data allocated and it seemed that data was missing. I called in at least 3 times to get the matter resolved and none of the customer service advisors could assist me with explaining what had happened to my data. Their supervisors could not give an account either and even went on to hang up on me on the phone while I was waiting for a response. The third person referred me to the data allocation department, who raised a ticket for me with the back office team. The agent who sent me a response said I should refer back to the point, her name was Lindiwe Macekiswana and then she closed the case, without waiting for me to reply or enquire any further about what she meant as it seems like she did not complete the email response she had sent. Not only that, but I should have received a free 10GB allocation for the first month with the new contract, which I never did. A very serious case of false advertising. The same thing was done when signing up for the modem a few days later at PEP Cell. I am absolutely disgusted with the service I have received on every level. I would not recommend the network provider as they do not care about customer retention or customer loyalty. None of the issues I had were resolved. The missing data, which will be billed at the end of the month, was not returned and the 10GB was not either. Instead, my data usage for the month has been blocked from my viewing on my MTN app and this is absolutely ************. I will be letting other consumers know and spreading the word about this, as well as opening a legal case against MTN.
