Cancel contract

I want to cancel my contract as it is near end period but they don't want to help me unless i want to upgrade,even if i call at exactly 08:00 they say their lines are busy. I went to their branch in Vryheid and they also said they can help me if i upgrade of which i can't afford anymore or they will continue to deduct if i don't cancel
