Cancel contract

Was contacted by call centre for contract with 2 handsets. Received handsets 17 November 2018. Immediately contacted customer to cancel contract. Was informed that I have to take handsets to nearest mtn shop. Drove to Riversdale (about 28km from home) just to hear that they can't take in the handsets and have to go to Mossel bay. Got a ref nr from Riversdale. Drove to Mossel bay which is just under 100km to hear that I have to drive to George. Took handsets in on 27 November 2018 and till date contract not cancelled and don't get any feedback from mtn George re work order nr for cancellation. Unacceptable that cancellation takes more than 4months nor the fact that no feedback nor reply from mtn. Debit order still goes off and every month I reverse the transaction. Bad service is an understatement from mtn George.
