Can not block prepaid sim - Enabling *********?

Hi<br> <br> My phone using a prepaid sim card was ****** while on holiday. I phoned the call center trying to get MTN to block the sim/number to ensure that ********* would not be using the sim card but was told that MTN can only block contract sim cards and not prepaid sim cards. I would need to do a sim swap and go through the RICA process again ! As I am on holiday I can't do this as I am not in possession of proof of residence. <br> <br> Even if MTN is not contravening the RICA act it seems to me that this is very much against the \spirit"of the law i.e to stop ********* using prepaid sim cards to conduct business.
