Can i just cancel my contract???

I have tried calling the cancellation department/retentions department on numerous times, MTN is not available to cancel contracts. You won't have any issues getting through to them when wanting to open a new contract or doing an upgrade though. I tried several times and hold for an hour at a time to get through to them with no luck. I need to give notice this week because my contract expires end December. But because they are not available, it means they will move my contract to a month to month. I have emailed the customer care address you receive the most shocking service from them. I even used their whatsapp customer care…Don’t even bother automated ****.
