Caller Tunez / Caller tunes
MTN in their sole discretion has activated this worthless and embarrassing feature on my MTN number. So when patients and clients call, some unknown north African artist is singing away on my phone. This paints an extremely unprofessional picture to my patients. I am a general surgeon in private practice. I have emailed, called, used sms codes, attended the Gatemax branch of MTN to stop this, but to no avail. My contract is now up for renewal and I'll probably close it and move to another network. It astounds me that MTN would enable this feature at random on customers' lines to promote their own business. I'm Afrikaans speaking, and the artist on my phone is a cultural insult to me. I can list several more reasons why I don't want this **** on my line. I have been a customer of MTN for the past 10 years.
