Call centre says I cannot get advertised iPhone6
I app**** online for the advertised iPhone6 64GB for R469 from Mtn store and received a reply that it is being processed. Even after 3 days there was no contact from Mtn store. so I decided to phone them. They transferred me from one phone to the other and after 6 numbers and 2 sms's I was told that they cannot give the phone at that price. They say they don't know about the adverti*****t.
Is this a way of cheating customers by showing that your products are cheaper than your rivals? If you have no intension of giving it, why do you advertise it? I had to pay around R50 to phone all your people. Then I send an email to your customer care. They didn't even bother to reply. The ad was there for 4 days with timer to show the remaining time to apply on line. I even cancelled another one thinking that I can get this one. My stupidity of trusting your adverti*****t.
I don't think it is a mistake from your part. A company as big as Mtn cannot make a mistake in your very competitive market.
If you say that ad was a mistake, how can we trust all your other ads? Then can I tell my friends that we cannot trust whatever you advertise?
