Call centre not capable

I am trying to migrate my contract to prepaid, after phoning the contact centre, I was first told that I need to give 30 days notice (this is after my contract has already expired) which I did not accept. After speaking to the manager on duty about this, he acknowledged that this person was wrong and continued to process this request. It was mentioned that this will take between 2 and 72 hours which I accepted.

Today, more than 216 hours later, this is still not done. Deon Opperman has contacted me via email and requested that I submit personal information such as banking info ext. in order for him to process my request (this is after all the security checks was done whilst phoning the call centre). I mentioned to him that I will not give this information via email as a security measure after which he just responded that he cant process my request then.

I don't agree with this and are quite disappointed after being a MTN customer for over 10 years now. It just seems like all the focus gaining new clients, but not really keeping the current clients happy.
