Call Center Does Not work
<p>When calling 808 and asking to speak to a consaultant it says it will redirect me and just Resets.</p> <p>When Calling the Bedford Centre Branch they just dont awnser my phone,</p> <p>I have even contacted them over Facebook.</p> <p> </p> <p>I took out a new contract and i have received a recycled phone number, I am now being harrased by banks and random phone calls for someone looking for Yolanda.</p> <p> </p> <p>This is not cool, I just want to speak to someone to help but i cannot get through to anyone.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have a number that is not a recycled number, I want to port my contract onto this number and just avoid everything.</p> <p>MTN please assist,</p> <p> </p> <p>Thanks</p>

Thank you for taking the time to raise your concerns and affording us the opportunity to address them. Kindly accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused.
Kindly please be advised that as per business rules, you cannot swap your already existing number on contract with a number you already have. What can be done is that you can request a MSISDN(number) swap but we will have to allocate a number to you from the available number range and you cannot personally pick your own number. Also note that this will depend on the package that you are on and there are no guarantees that that number will not be a refurbished number as all deactivated numbers are re-cycled and re-allocated to new users.
You can visit any of our MTN stores should you wish to continue with the above and they will assist further.
