MTN (both in store and a service center) asked someone I know to, I quote - "take the device to a Pakistani electronics store to unlock it" - because they, at MTN, couldn't. Upon taking it into one, the gentleman in store actually said that he would be able to unlock it, for a cost. An MTN DEVICE! That MTN Cannot Unlock. So, what can you do? And people in South Africa wonder why their jobs "are being taken by foreigners". This was both laughable and a new height of incompetence.
