On the 13th of February I visited the Pavilion MTN store to port my number from Vodacom to MTN. We waited for over an hour before we could get assistance; during this time customers even left because there weren't enough consultants to assist (only 2).

I was told that the request to port was done, but since nothing happened, on the 15th February I contacted needhelp (at) [URL Removed] for assistance who forwarded along my query to MNPpst (at) [URL Removed] reference ***7.

I was advised by Sinazo that there was no request and that I should rather use the SMS method for which standard SMS rates would apply. This is rather inconvenient since I finished my airtime because any airtime on Vodacom is forfeited after a port. I send the text message but there was no reply a few hours later. Replying to my email query Sinazo told me that I would need to go back to the store and try again.

This is very frustrating; something is clearly wrong and MTN is not willing to investigate, but want to rather waste more of my time.
