Broken Promises

On the 30th of May my son received a message that if he upgrades his phone "today" he would receive a R 1000.00 Take-a-lot Voucher. He and his dad went to the MTN shop, upgraded his phone. Upon asking for the voucher the personnel at the shop said they were completely unaware of this deal, no one informed them and that they cannot do anything. After atempting to phone numberous times, you just can not speak to an actual person, which is so frustrating. I mailed customer services. Their reply was that the MTN shop should provide the voucher. We all went back to the shop and the attendants at the shop looked at the mail and talked among one another no one knew anything about this offer. Again, we left without the voucher. Now my son has a new phone, less pocket money and no voucher which was the "carrot" that made him upgrade his phone in the 1st place.
