breach of contract
<p>I took 2 lines fixed contract out with mtn about a year ago. The fixed amount is R598 with a top up option if prepaid. Mtn has been debiting me for past couple of months erratic amounts of R1100 then R1800. I had to cancel the debit order because of this. I called mtn to assist me 3 months ago. To date no one has helped. They keep telling me my 14 year old authorised a higher contract amount. They switched my two both lines off today even though I went personally to mtn office to sort this out in Fourways mall twice. My wits student son is unable to write his exams because of this. My 14 year old feels afraid he can't get hold me. Service at MTN is appauling. They all refuse to help me and say MTN has no head to speak to</p>

kindly be advised that My MTNChoice package offers the flexibility to spend out of your usage limit and the ability to add on airtime, data or SMS’s as and when required. Please note that as per systems record the usage limit was set to R0.00 from MTN side, however on following dates the usage limit was changed by the user of the device via the ussd code, 2016-07-06 09:46:36 limit set to R600. On the 2016-07-16 18:30:13 usage limit was changed to R100. And on 2016-07-16 18:32:24 the limit was changed to by the user via the ussd code to R600 again

Usage limit was set to R0.00 from MTN side, however on the 2016-10-01 12:17:48 usage limit was changed via the ussd to R100 and on the very same day changed back to R00.00 by the device user.
All charges are deemed valid. MTN will not be held liable for changed initiated via the ussd code.
