Breach of Contract
I received a notification from MTN that a debit order did not go off. I contacted MTN only to be told that yes indeed my account was in arrears. I spoke to one of the agents and advised that they can double debit my account. The debit order went off on the 25th and still today my account is still suspended yet I paid.
I have paid for the service so now i demand those service .I am not getting this service for free, i have paid. I had to buy data worth of R360 thanks to MTN for their awesome service.
MTN you are in breach of the contract that I have with you. If I don't get resolution by the end of business tomorrow I plan to go to discuss this matter with my attorney if I don't get feedback. I spoke to about four MTN employees that all promised to escalate the issue to engineers. I am running out of patience now. Like I said, no feedback by COB tomorrow I will escalate this to my attorneys and consumer line.
We are truly sorry for the inconvenience caused and for the delay with the matter being resolved.
We have now perused your account and can confirm that the payment of R851.77 was successfully debited from your account.
The issue with the line not being reactivated was system related and the matter has been resolved as we were able to reconnect the line. Please allow 2-24 hours for the line to be fully active on the network.
Regards
Tim
