Breach Of Contract
I opened a newline contract with MTN on the 09/07/2015 for a Samsung Tab 4. When I left the store that day the sim card was not registered and the consultant Terence told me to give it 24 hours, which I did. After 24 hours my sim card was still not registered and I went to the MTN store in Golden Acre, Cape Town and the problem wasn't fixed, the consultant just informed me that everything is right on the system. However the tablet still had the emergency calls only status on the front screen and when I dialled *141# the message was sim card/network not registered. I did not use airtime or data on the Samsung Tab 4 ever since I got the device. I made calls to 808 for assistance and they just referred me back to the store I opened up the contract with. I went back to the store and nobody could help me with the situation and the manager informed me that MTN will not strike my account till the problem is fixed, they also informed me that they going to log a ticket for investigation to take place. I left it for months, till my debit went off on the 31/09/2015 and according to me this went against the agreement I had with the store manager. This is against the law

Kindly take it up with the store manager as he is the one that knows what happened and what was the agreement about the charges and SIM card not being active.
