breach of agreement

09 June 2015 i upgraded my headset at a MTN branch at the Middelburg mall in Mpumalanga . i was assisted by the lady called Nhlanhla . I have had a top up line for the past four years and have been happy with it . On the day in question upgraded to a Sumsung Tablet 10.1 for going for R259.00 per month and will receive 500 megabits and if i need more i will have to top-up . 2nd Sep 2015, MTN send me a sms informing me that i got an outstanding bill of R 2792.98. i was shocked from where is this bill coming from i checked my bank statement i realized that MTN had put through a debt order of R1451.55 in July . Now i went back to the store next day, the lady is said not to be working anymore.i presented my case to the personal present i was given a reference number pending investigation. According to the store i would have had a response within 2-48hrs and the store would call me ,which didn't happen. Unfortunately i work outside town so it took me 5 days to feedback, only to be told that the bill of was of charges on extra service on the line .which was part of agreement in the first place I then asked itemized bill which should take 2-24hrs.still waiting till now

Hello psmudd,

Good day Mr Prince Sehlaphi Mudzingwa,

Thank you for your post.

Thank you for your time.

A***:

We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience you may have experienced with our service.

We have sent the request to the store managers to assist with feedback. The account has been set up to be on Top Up once the 500MB has been used up.

Please can you send to us the copy of the upgrade signed to be on Top Up, once received we can then credit the account if the contract is signed for the Top Up.

Kind Regards,

Alice van der Merwe
