BLOCKED PHONES

<p>I am more than ****ed off,i have 4 sim cards with MTN,2 FOR CELLPHONES and Two for Internet in my office.I usually pay R1499 for all sim cards.My service has been blocked since they told me that i owe them R4690.00.Last time i checked my limit for four sim cards was up to R1499.00.when i go to a store am told that complaint has been lodged,but i cannot make a phone call nor use my internet in the office.HELP PLEASE MTN SUCKS.NO ONE IS WILLING TO ASSIST ME,THEIR EXPLANATION DOESNT HOLD WATER,SOME ARE TELLING ME THAT I INCREASED THE LIMIT ON MY OWN,BUT I DIDNT PLEASE HELP,AM NOT CONNECTED AND ITS BEEN WEEKS,I PAID THE R1499.00 THAT I ALWAYS PAY,BUT AM TOLD I CANNOT BE ACTIVATED</p>

Kindly be advised that the account balance is R4,698.88.

The payment received on the account R1454.42 on the 2-2-2017. This payment was for the January 2017 invoices. The February invoices was allocated to the account. The system reflected that cell number *** is on MyChoice 20GB contract, additional charges was added for extra data usage after the 20GB received free with the package was utilized. Payment for R1400.00 has been received on the 21-3-2017, you have paid the account short for the February invoices due to the data charges on this invoice.

The March invoices was allocated and not as yet been paid. The account is on cash and you have 21 days from the invoice date to make payment to the account. The March invoices need to be paid by the 4 of April.

The system reflect that you have a credit limit for the 4 lines on the account for R3000.00 credit limit is placed on your MTN account as a credit management tool for internal use only.

The system do not reflect that you have set up a usage limit on line ***. This line is on an open contract and not Top up.

Cell number *** is billed for content usage.

You may use the following USSD code to block the content service providers: *141* 5 # select option written content billing.

Kindly be advised that any services used on the sim card will be charged to the account, content services is not a MTN service and from our side we cannot activate this, content service can only be activated by the user of the handset. MTN do not credit the account for any content charges.

Content charges are when you download information from your Internet commercial adverti*****t to your handset.

Please note we cannot assist you with the break down for the content charges because this is not a MTN service and we do not work on outside company systems.

Your unsubscribe has been logged as #***-OPERA TELECOMS content.

We have sent the request to the billing department to validate the charges for the February invoice billing.

The usage limit is set up for R0.00 on cell number ***.

We have removed the suspension for the account until the billing department has investigated the charges. Please reboot the device.

Thank you for your feedback.

We are aware that you do not skip payments, however you have paid the account short for cell number *** this invoice balance was R3498.98 and you have only paid the subscription fee, if the billing department finalized the investigation that the usage is valid you will be held responsible for the payment of the difference on this invoice for the data charges R2984.97 is short paid.
