BLACKLISTING PHONE
While I was travelling in Africa MTN unilaterally decided to blacklist my phone. It was blacklisted on the 6th August and I returned to SA on the 14 August. Can imagine being in Tanzania without comms, thanks MTN. I went into the MTN Blue Route branch and the lady said my phone was faulty (we did not suspect blacklisting). I then took it to Samsung Smart Care and after wasting another 2 hours of my time they told me it was balcklisted and there was nothing they could do. I then phone MTN (173) on the 17 Aug at 10.30am and spoke to Mashe, who was incapable of helping or giving advice. I asked to speak to the supervisor and dear Mashe said i must wait as the supervisor is busy. Well, its now the 19th August 15h00 and i am still waiting. Mashe should get another job feeding rabbits! I went into MTN Blue Route again today and assisted by Kerri who was extremely apologetic and helpful and told me what to do. Its now 13 days without a phone, and yes i do work and use the phone for business. I have a call logged with MTN *** if anyone is able to assist?
