BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL FROM HELL - *********** TELEMARKERS
So this is my rant to MTN, any potential clients or Existing Clients of MTN.
Firstly, Lee-Anne from your telemarketers marketing side- is either completely *********** in doing a simple task such as reading her script to "sell" something for what it actually is, or is a down right MONEY HUNGRY ******* who has NO regard for other people.. OR MTN themselves are guilty of having ***********, NEGLIGENT, UNPROFFESSIONAL Script Writers. Either Way MTN, make change.
Story time: I received a call from LeeAnne from MTN on black Friday, telling me that they have noticed i tend to top up my account with more data throughout the month, so they'd like to offer me a BLACK FRIDAY SPECIAL... 240 GIGs for R249 /month. Of course hearing such a bargain, i was interested in what she had to say... she continued to say that i would received a FREE ROUTER... This seemed too good to be true. (Because it was) I made sure to ask her "Am i just going to be paying R249 a month? that's it? No extra payments? " and she reassured me that that was it. WOW! How Cool? a free router too?!? Exciting stuff. what a bunch of *** that was, LEEANNE, you lie. The following week i noticed my debit order was alot higher than what i had originally been paying, so i hopped on the phoned and gave them a call to hear what was happening. I was told that because i swapped over to another plan- there was a Pro Rata amount added. WHICH I WAS NOT INFORMED ABOUT BY LEEANNE. Its DECEMEBER Sis? Do you really think i want to be paying more for things now and not be told about it??? hah. You're very mistaken. ANYWAY, the phone call continues, and Thamali is great, she was helpful, patient and was able to enlighten me on the **** LEEANNE pulled on me. Thamali kept asking me which number i was referring to during the phone call- which was alarming considering i only have 1 sim/ account with them. i asked her what she meant and i was told that i actually now have 2 sims/accounts. WHAT? She continued to say i have my phone sim and now a router sim... WHEN THE HECK DID I SIGN UP FOR ANOTHER SIM/ ACCOUNT THAT I MUST PAY FOR??? NOT ONCE did LEEANNE mention that i was now going to be paying for an additional sim card. LEEANNE said it was FREE? Im now sitting and waiting and hoping that the processes i have followed to cancel this MAJOR F-Up will have a positive outcome.
So this is my rant to MTN and any potential clients or Existing Clients of MTN, DONT LET THESE TELEMARKETERS PULL THE WOOL OVER YOUR EYES. a tip to future ME and who ever else needs to hear this, Don't even give them the satisfaction of knowing they have your interest, rather go into a MTN store and read your terms and conditions, it will save you weeks of frustration.
