BIS being charged ********ly...for a sumsung. R51.74 pm

It has been almost a year that I sent an email to MTN complaining about the BIS charge that was being deducted from my contract and you have still NOT MANAGED to CANCEL BIS (Black Berry Internet Service High).

I upgraded from a Blackberry to a Samsung in July 2014, as per my upgrade I no longer had access to Blackberry Internet Service as I had a Samsung. As I pay my bill via Dr order & no longer receive my statement electronically, MTN continued to deduct the monthly fee of R51.74 from my account for BIS

When I picked up that you MTN were still charging me, this is the sequence of events that I HAD TO GO THROUGH to TRY & GET THIS CHARGE CANCELLED & REFUNDED as far back as July 2014. To date I am STILL I am being charged R51.74 for BIS?

1. 27th April 2016 I sent an email to ********** asking them why they are still charging me for BlackBerry Internet for the last two years when you actually upgraded me to a Samsung S4 which I have had for almost 2 years now?

2. 10th May 2016 I sent a follow up email to ********** as I had no response to my email dd 27th April

3. 11th May Tumelo Monyatsi from MTN asked for my telephone details

We apologize for the delayed response.

To process the request and for security reasons, please confirm the following:-

o I.D Number: [Massyn, Michelle: Absa] ********** 097081

o MTN Pin: [Massyn, Michelle: Absa] I have no idea

o Address: [Massyn, Michelle: Absa] 118 2nd ave, Edenvale

o MTN Cellphone Number: [Massyn, Michelle: Absa] ********** 929 – look at the subject line my cell number is there

o MTN Account Number: [Massyn, Michelle: Absa] you should have this if you have my cell number??

o Bank Name.[Massyn, Michelle: Absa] Absa

4. 12 May 2016 I received an email from Shaunique Jordaan (MTN) asking me if I deactivate it BIS as a service when you upgraded your contract.

5. 13th May I received an email Elizabeth Lei (MTN) asking me to provide MTN with my MTN account and cellphone number for them to assist me further which I responded that I had already provided the info. .

6. 17th May 1:07 PM I sent another email to MTN asking for feedback .

7. 17th May I received a response from Shaunique Jordaan MTN informing me to Kindly be advised to visit your nearest MTN store for assistance in deactivation.

8. 18th May I received an email from Gonie (MTN) apologising & said she sent an email to our OPS ADMIN team to de-activate BIS and pass the credits for the BIS subscription.

I have subsequently sent two more emails to MTN Customer Care **********
- 14th March ref # ********** 4 & : REQ: ********** . received from a Palesa Phoku on the 15th March.

- follow up email to MTN 23rd March - NO RESPONSE received from MTN.

How many other customers have they charged ********ly?

As at June 2016 MTN had 232,6 million customers. If only ½ % of MTN’s customer base i.e. 11, 630, 000(11 million customers) moved from a Blackberry to a smartphone then there is a possibility that these MTN customers like me, were ********ly being charged R51.74 over 2 years that’s what……… R14 Billion ( R14,441,668,800) profit made *******ly by MTN?

I do not agree the upgrade was done via Nashua mobile in 2014 & not 25 May 2016 - that was for my new Samsung S7. I even provided a copy of the proof of purchase in my original email. The upgrade prior to this was a Samsung S4 in July 2014.
Please check your records agaib
