Billing and contract cancellation

Hello

I have 2 issues that are not being sorted out even after numerous emails and communication with the operators on 808

My contract for number 060*** expired on 9 January 2016 and I have been trying since then to cancel this contract. Reference for this is ***. I was also incorrectly billed for the last 2 months on this contract and I am still trying to get resolution on this as well with the 2 below reference numbers *** and ***

I have a sim only contract on number 083*** that I am wanting to migrate to a prepaid sim. I was told at the time I took this contract that even though it is 24 months I can still cancel giving 1 months notice without any penalties. When I spoke to the consultant on 808 I was told I am liable for the remaining 12 months if I cancel. Now this is against the CPA and should only be charged the current outstanding invoice amount for the month and 1 month notice. I was told I will get a settlement quote and as yet have not. The reference number for this is ***

Please can I get resolution on these 2 problems ASAP
Hello MrMiff,

We are sorry for the breakdown in service experienced and for any inconvenience caused.

We can confirm that the 060 was migrated over to prepaid on the 13th of January 2016 and is fully active on the prepaid network.

We've also now had a look at the 083 number and this is a 24 month contract. The only difference to that of a promotional contract is that you were not issued with a handset and you only receive minutes, data and an SMS bundle.

We will suggest that you return to the store and get assistance from the store Supervisor pertaining to the information that you were given by the consultant that assisted you.

Regards
Tim
