Billing
In Feb i went to take up a contract with MTN, I told them I need a top up package which they stated on the contract, only to find out they billing amounts that I did not sign for. My payments should be 550 rands a month and I have never paid that amount, my bill is going up to 3000 a month, and I have been requesting them to sort out my account which they have not done. I phoned the call centre and I spoke to a rude guy called Garry Oersone, who did not help me at all.

We are terribly sorry for the inconveniences that you experienced as a result of this. We completely understand the frustration it causes.
According to our records, the package on your account is a MTNChoice 100mins and not a TOP. However, if you have signed for a top up, you would need to visit the store where the upgrade was done with a copy of the contract to have this investigated and resolved.
However, a usage limit has been loaded to your account only in May 2015, so going forward you should not be billed for usage over and above the limit set on your account.
We would like to assure you that we are actively working to improve our service levels.
